What's new? Bu and Christine Hamilton get cosy...

Now that O.C.S.L had a book to launch, they needed someone who would be a famous face to compliment and support their campaign. But who was the person that could really speak with the same enthusiasm as O.C.S.L? Who would really become the voice of our children, both hearing and deaf? And who would regard with a passion all of the children whose lives would be touched by the cartoon elephant a nation would come to know and love?

We thought and thought. And then thought some more. It was a difficult decision to make. Ideas bounced around the office. Around the agent.

And still there was no-one we could perceive as having the voice that so needed to be heard. Yes, there were many who would stand by Bu, but this was different. We needed an extra-special someone for an extra-special job. And then came the words that solved a huge dilemma. And for the charity who had just about named every celebrity from soaps, to chat-shows. From reality TV to queens of the big screen. From celebs with tiny dogs in spangly bags to those classed as 'A-Listers', our quest was over!

So who was the person deemed wonderful in every way? Who cared about humanitarian causes enough to feel as passionately as we did about every child touched by the book? And whose words could bring either laughter or tears to those who listened as she spoke?

CHRISTINE HAMILTON!

"Quickly! Call her and ask!" We demanded.

An hour or so later, we got our reply.

"Yes!"

And so Christine agreed to become the person to launch 'Bu says "No!" to Bullies' with her loyal Neil husband ever at her side.

And we knew from the moment her name was mentioned, she would be perfect. Our dream was coming together in a way that defied words; and we were beginning to understand how big Bu, might really be one day.

And apart from all of that, all of the office staff were so relieved not to have to search pages and pages of celebrity profiles hour after hour, day in, day out! Still, we had much fun in seeking our celebrity and were excited about the rest of the Bu 'mission'.

After all, we had an elephant about to make his grand appearance, along with his friends, Rudy, Rosco, Webster and Olivia. No time for relaxing! There were people to see, planes to catch! (Okay, well not quite planes, but we did have some jokes about Bu's private jet!)
